Bodysuits: The Unsung Heroes of Your Wardrobe
Closet chameleons, one seamless piece at a time; plus, a powerful Men’s Fashion Week moment
Bodysuits are the ultimate shapeshifters. From office hours to date nights, gym sessions to galas, bodysuits are the assignment.
These one-piece wonders solve the age-old and super annoying tucking dilemma while delivering a sleek, streamlined silhouette—they’re a wardrobe essential offering endless versatility.
We just celebrated MLK Day, stopped saying "Happy New Year," and, as scheduled, Valentine’s Day is everywhere—hearts, chocolates, and drugstore decor are on one hundred. I have feelings about Valentine’s Day. None complicated. All basic.
When I’m out with my man, I want to look and feel sexy. Period. No tucking, no adjusting. And that’s where bodysuits shine.
Modern bodysuits have leveled up. Backless bodysuits are your secret weapon for a Superman-style reveal after work—swap the corporate cardigan for instant evening feel. As wardrobe chameleons, a bodysuit posing as a crisp “blouse” above high-waisted pants, or worn with a sleek a pencil skirt is fuss-free and elegant.
There are core pieces for layering, hooded designs that I wear most often under peacoats or a trench, and #WFH styles that hit with shorts and blazers. Others easily transition to after-hours luxe loungewear for just looking great while staying in, in which I highly case recommend rocking a bodysuit bottomless.

Bodysuits from brands like SKIMS and Alo are staples, while L'Agence and Fleur du Mal are known for sexy bodysuits that hug your curves without the uncomfortable squeeze or friction on your nether regions.
There’s a world of lesser-known gems out there waiting to be introduced to your wardrobe, and they aren't your standard one-note pieces. I’m most attracted to asymmetrical necklines, unexpected cutouts, bold textures.
Here’s my edit of ones that break the mold—and deserve a spot in your radar.

What I’m loving
Paris Men’s Fashion Week: Willy Chavarria is always making a statement. He already had me when he and Addidas brought low riders to the streets of Paris to launch their collab. But then, as expected, and for a litany of reasons, his Paris Men’s debut was more than a show: Chavarria closed by playing the audio of Bishop Mariann Budde’s inaugural prayer and mercy plea, as he marked his 10th anniversary. A powerful reminder of art’s ability to move us, even in the toughest times.
Real talk: Help is still needed in LA. Here’s what you can do.
love this. I've been eyeing a bodysuit for a minute. (shame I am not going to support skims cause those were the ones I was initially looking at!)
So true! I love a bodysuit. Long sleeve body suits are so chic. And for what it's worth, for those of us with wonky backs it can feel really comforting to wear a nice, tight bodysuit under clothes (almost like a brace!)
